Audi Q7 Enters 2020 with Powerful New Advancements

The new 2020 Audi Q7 is entering the new year with advanced technology, a refreshed design, and a powerful new engine. These all-encompassing updates continue to secure its position as a leader in the luxury SUV segment. The all-new 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine is featured in the new Audi Q7, and generates an impressive 369 lb-ft of torque along with 335 horsepower. This is an increase of 44 lb-ft from the past generation. Featuring a twin-scroll turbocharger and paired with an improved Audi valve lift system, the new V6 engine powerhouse ensures both an improved engine performance and responsiveness. It is able to run from 0-60 mph in only 5.7 seconds.


Regarding the chassis and suspensions of the Audi Q7, drivers can easily adjust both the firmness of the dampers along with the ride height through the easy to use the Audi drive select system. In addition to the standard Drive Select modes, this air suspension also adds five selectable ride height levels to ensure an adaptive experience for the driver: standard, off-road, lift, dynamic, and finally loading. Additionally, when equipped with the optional tow package, the Audi Q7 is capable of towing up to 7,700 lbs.


The 2020 Audi Q7 is now equipped with benchmark technology features. Replacing the conventional buttons, rotary dial, and controls with two large, high-resolution touch displays, the new MMI touch response system is an integral new feature for an Audi Q7 driver. The standard MMI touch response is used for controlling navigation functions and infotainment, with the lower display used for climate control, convenience and control. 


Additional subscriptions are offered for more functions including weather updates, Yelp review highlights, and parking information. The standard on Prestige models includes a vibrant full-color head-up display that shows important and relevant driving information such as driver assistance systems information in the driver’s field of vision. The standard Audi smartphone interface allows access to Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for all compatible devices.


Along with several additional driver assistance systems included such as adaptive cruise control, active lane assist and traffic jam assist, the 2020 Audi Q7 also encompasses a significant exterior and interior design improvements, maximizing the driver's experience as soon as they step into the vehicle.
