The 2020 Audi S6 — Redefining Luxury Vehicles with Next-Gen Technology

With several innovative technologies, the all-new 2020 Audi S6 is everything you would expect from a luxury sports sedan. Striking design meets next-gen technology to redefine what it means to be a luxury vehicle, making the S6 a dynamic presence on the road.

The S6 features a new twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine paired with an electric power compressor to produce up to 443 lb.-ft. of torque and 444 horsepower. This supercharged setup allows the S6 to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than five seconds.

To help with the low-end torque of the V6 engine, the S6 comes standard with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, allowing the engine to consistently run near its ideal engine speed.

High-precision handling and immediate response time are key features the S6 offers. The standard Quattro all-wheel-drive actively distributes torque between both the front and rear axles, and the available Quattro sport differential enhances the S6s agility by circulating torque between the rear wheels with the option to distribute nearly all torque to one wheel. For a more sporty driving experience, the wheel-selective torque control increases traction by using an individual-wheel braking application across each axle.

Buyers can opt for the available S sport package for dynamic all-wheel steering to further increase handling and stability and adds sport exhaust and red brake calipers.

When combined with the S sport package, the available sport suspensions with adaptive dampers enable the driver to choose between two different drive select settings for either a more sporty or comfortable ride.

On the outside, the S6 delivers a sportier appearance with aluminum exterior side mirrors, a platinum double-slat Singleframe grille, and S-model bumpers. Two wheel options are available to choose from. The S6 comes standard with 20-inch, 5-arm design wheels fitted, or buyers can choose the available 21-inch, 5-twin-spoke V-design wheels.

The interior of the S6 features two upholstery options: the standard package with a combination of leather and Alcantara, or buyers can opt for Valcona leather which comes in either Arras Red, Rotor Grey, or the usual black. Aluminum trim is found on the center console, dashboard, and door panels while the footrest and pedal caps are made of stainless steel. Also, an optional flat-bottom steering wheel is available if buyers aren't a fan of the regular wheel.

Several innovative technologies are available to help users drive with confidence. A full-color head-up display comes standard with MMI Navigation and the corresponding MMI touch response system. Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto are available with compatible devices when using the Audi smartphone interface.

Audi virtual cockpit is standard in the S6 and enhances the infotainment console. With an Audi connect PRIME subscription, drivers can use the large Google Earth imager or 3D city maps while navigating.

The 2020 Audi S6 has a starting MSRP of $73,900.
