The all-new 2019 Audi A8 was built with luxury in mind. From advanced technology to a passenger-centric interior, the A8 redefines what a luxury vehicle is capable of.

The A8 comes standard with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that uses an electric motor to produce 335 horsepower. Buyers can also choose a twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine that produces 460 horsepower. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the A8 comes standard with Quattro all-wheel drive.

Road irregularities are no problem thanks to an adjustable air suspension that isolates occupants from the road. When the AI system detects an elevated bump or a dip, the body is raised or lowered to absorb the impact, giving passengers a smooth, relaxing ride.

Drivers can select four different drive modes—Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, and Individual—to enhance engine response, ride quality, and steering.

The A8 features a multi-material composition body using three types of aluminum, two types of steel, high-tech carbon fiber, and lightweight magnesium to create a strong, yet light, build.

Fine materials are used throughout the interior to give passengers extra comfort on the road. Buyers can choose to add the available Rear Seat Comfort and Executive Rear Seat packages that feature adjustable LED reading lights and a relaxation seat found on the right side that can recline and offers a footrest with heating and massage functions.

Individual tablets for rear passengers can be added with the Rear Seat Connectivity and Rear Seat Comfort packages. These detachable 10.1-inch tablets provide a premium infotainment experience for rear-seat passengers. A 5.7-inch smart remote control allows rear passengers to adjust climate controls, seating positions, and lighting all on one screen.

Four-zone automatic climate control allows the driver, front passenger, and outboard rear passengers to adjust the climate within their zone to their own preferences.

An available Audi A8 air quality system helps reduce the number of allergens, dust, and other particles in the cabin by using an air ionizer that fills the interior with negatively charged molecules.

Audi virtual cockpit features a 12.3-inch screen that can be customized to display the classic speedometer layout or an infotainment layout with a navigation map.

A suite of driver assistance features is available. Turn and Intersection assist, which is part of the Driver Assistance package, uses cameras and sensors to detect oncoming vehicles while turning or pulling through an intersection and can apply the brakes if needed. The Executive package also includes virtual 360-degree cameras that provide an overview of the vehicle and can alert drivers of potential obstacles. Audi pre sense 360 uses 24 sensors to help create awareness of the vehicle’s surroundings.

The 2019 Audi A8 has an MSRP starting at $83,800.
