Sleek. Luxurious. Practical. Powerful. These are all words that aptly describe Audi’s new 2017 A7. Audi first released the A7 in 2012, and has been upgraded several times since then. With its large cargo space, powerful engine lineup, and exquisite cabin, it's one of the most desired vehicles on the market.

The 2017 A7 has three trims: Premium Plus, Prestige, and Competition. There are also high performance models: the S7 Premium Plus, S7 Prestige, RS 7, and RS 7 Performance. One of the most defining characteristics of the 2017 A7 is its fastback shape, an elegant exterior design which blends perfectly with the defined and functional interior. The RS 7 has a carbon-fiber splitter and diffusor, and the S7 has its own front and rear bumper design. Every model comes standard with a sunroof and electric rear spoiler, and has optimized all aspects of the interior space.

The interior of the A7 is one of the best in its class; seating five people, while the S7 and the RS 7 seat four. The seats have leather upholstery, heated front seats, and power-adjustable front seats. There’s plenty of legroom and headroom in the front seats, adequate room in the back, and practical cargo space. The A7 has a liftgate instead of a trunk, with 24.5 cubic feet of cargo space when the rear seats are up, and even more room when the seats are folded down. If storage is important, the Model S has even more space with 31.6 cubic feet.

Some other interior features the A7 possesses include but are not limited to a 14-speaker Bose audio system, quad-zone climate control, HD radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and a touchpad controller with handwriting recognition. Audi Connect, and Google Earth supported navigation maps are also standard.

Regarding the A7’s performance, every A7 model has an all-wheel drive that provides stability, road grip, and Audi Drive Select which allows you to choose from four different driving modes to suit your needs. It has a 3.0-liter V6 that puts out 333 horsepower, or upgrade to 605 horsepower with the RS 7. The A7’s better than average gas mileage is 21 mpg for the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

With elegance, class, style, and safety — there is nothing like the Audi A7. U.S. News & World Report awards the 2017 A7 an overall score of 9/10, and it is also a finalist for this year’s Best Luxury Large Car for Families. Experience the difference for yourself, and test drive one today!
